Isle Royale - Fall, 2002
"The Minong Ridge - A Nice Place To Be"

Description of the Trip...
This trip was on the "ultimate" trail on the island, "The Minong Ridge".  This is the hardest, the most beautiful and most desolate trail on the island.  My Dad had never walked this trail and Bob and Roger had only done it once four years ago.  I thought we should do it because we are not getting any younger.  So, one more walk on the "Minong" as the Native Americans called it.  Minong - "A Nice Place To Be".
