Description...
This trip we drove from
Port Huron, Michigan to Grand Portage, Minnesota to ride the Voyageur II
Ferry to Windigo on Isle Royale. We hiked the Feldtmann Ridge trail
counter-clockwise around up to the Greenstone Ridge then, back to Windigo.
My partners on this trip were my Dad, Michael J. Tremblay and Roger Kuras.
This was the first time my Dad had been on a backpacking trip. Roger
had been on one previous trip with me in 1998
on the Minong Ridge.
